About the position
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan professional/model builder to join our Corporate Strategic Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE) function and driving the design and implementation of new Anaplan models and functionalities. Additionally, you will play a key role in establishing our Anaplan roadmap and vision, managing enhancement requests, and providing end-to-end support for major implementations. We are looking for someone with solid experience in building Anaplan models and a strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
Responsibilities
- Help establish the Anaplan roadmap and vision, and manage requests and prioritize enhancement backlog
- Lead major implementations and provide end-to-end support for Anaplan models
- Enhance existing Anaplan models with new functionalities and methodologies
- Provide essential model support/management, resolving system and application issues, managing user securities, monitoring data flows, and maintaining support documentation
- Promote Anaplan's best practices and stay informed of new features and releases
- Work with various departments for execution support of data integration and automation projects
- Have 3+ years of Anaplan model building experience
- Possess Level 2 Model Builder certificate (Level 3 valued)
- Have relevant experience implementing Anaplan models/solutions
- Desire to achieve Master Anaplanner certification and become a solution architect
- Have a basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Excel at solving problems end-to-end and telling compelling stories.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Anaplan model building experience
- Level 2 Model Builder certificate is required and Level 3 is valued
- Relevant experience implementing Anaplan models/solutions as a consultant or a dedicated in-house support
- Desire to achieve Master Anaplanner certification and become a solution architect
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Experience working in or collaborating with FP&A is valued
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify the people and information needed to solve problems
- Ability to structure solutions and connect the dots to tell a compelling story
