About the position
As a Finance Business Partner at Mirakl, you will be the primary point of contact for Marketing, People and additional G&A functions. You will act as a key advisor to stakeholders, providing them with financial data and analysis that is critical to Mirakl's growth. Your responsibilities will include partnering with the Chief Marketing Officer to measure, understand, predict and improve marketing performance and efficiency, providing personnel cost and headcount planning, and supporting all G&A divisions to understand their costs during monthly closing exercises. Mirakl is looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and minimum 4+ years FP&A experience, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrated successful history of implementing business performance and control framework.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary finance partner to the Marketing, People and additional G&A functions
- Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to measure, understand, predict and improve marketing performance & efficiency
- Dig into critical marketing metrics to understand why they are moving up or down and what to do about it
- Set goals, measure results, uncover insights, and make recommendations for the marketing team
- Support the marketing team to build and track their budget
- Play a key role in supporting decision making with providing personnel cost and headcount planning as well as regular variance analysis and forecasts
- Own the "single source of truth" of personnel cost & headcount follow-up through Anaplan® providing analysis to other business controllers to support management with analysis regarding compensation
- Design integrated operating processes between People/Accounting G&A division to ensure accurate and efficient payroll process
- Support all G&A divisions to understand their costs during monthly closing exercises by comparing real vs. budget and during budget exercise helping teams building their own budget for year N+1
- Facilitate and ease communication between Americas management team and Finance team based in Paris
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and minimum 4+ years FP&A experience (SAAS / E-commerce / Retail is ideal)
- Master's degree in Finance or related field required
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Solid decision making and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated successful history of implementing business performance and control framework
- Demonstrated work ethic and consistent over-achievement
