About The Position

The Finance & Accounting Expert designs realistic, multi-step finance and accounting benchmark tasks that can be evaluated against clear, objective grading criteria. Tasks are based on real workflows, including FP&A analysis, financial reporting, audit procedures, and reconciliations, and should require judgment based on correctly interpreting supplied materials rather than simple lookup. The role also involves preparing or sourcing realistic supporting files, such as spreadsheets, general ledger extracts, financial statements, and policy documents. Experts must identify tasks that are ambiguous or cannot be graded reliably, and deliver approved tasks on schedule and at the required quality level. The engagement is project-based and paid per approved task, with approximately 10 hours of work per task. Prior AI experience is not required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on responsibility in FP&A, financial reporting, audit, reconciliations, or accounting; direct ownership of the work is required, rather than supervisory-only or adjacent exposure.
• Experience creating or applying structured review standards, such as audit programs, review checklists, close checklists, grading rubrics, or training assessments.
• Strong Excel capability.
• Comfort reasoning across multiple documents at once.
• Strong written English; the opportunity snapshot specifies B2 advanced or C1 minimum.

Nice To Haves

• CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• AI or LLM evaluation experience.
