About The Position

The Dentist for AI Training applies dental expertise to help train and improve AI systems. The role involves reviewing clinical dental information and evaluating model outputs to support the development of accurate, clinically relevant, and workflow-realistic dental AI applications. No prior AI experience is required.

This is a remote contract role focused on clinical data annotation, evaluation, and expert feedback. The dentist will contribute knowledge of digital dentistry, dental software, and clinical workflows while collaborating with cross-functional project teams.

Requirements

• Expertise in dentistry.
• Proven hands-on experience with clinical dental software, such as practice management, digital imaging, CAD/CAM, or treatment planning solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of digital dentistry workflows and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data review and annotation.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Comfort with remote, software-based project participation and virtual collaboration.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed dentist with a DDS, DMD, or internationally recognized equivalent.
• Prior involvement in human data projects, such as data labeling, annotation, RLHF, or evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, annotate, and label clinical dental data to support AI model development.
• Evaluate dental AI model outputs for accuracy, clinical relevance, and workflow realism.
• Provide expert insights on digital dentistry, including CAD/CAM workflows, digital imaging, and treatment planning software.
• Review and validate dental charting, imaging, and case scenarios for machine learning tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to clarify dental practices and software usage.
• Deliver structured feedback and guidance to refine and enhance AI-driven dental applications.
