Field Training Specialist

About The Position

The Field Training Specialist conducts on-site and virtual training for Winsupply local companies, working closely with local companies, Area Leaders, and Training Services to achieve desired performance outcomes. The role trains employees and new presidents or managers on WISE, WinZone, Winreports, reports, and related topics; supports WISE data organization and setup; and provides follow-up training and guidance. The specialist also participates in in-person training events, creates training videos and help documentation, manages end-user help tickets through resolution, and collaborates with Programming, Quality Assurance, and Support teams on projects. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience working in the wholesale distribution industry.
Attention to detail, thoroughness, and ownership in all duties.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree, or related experience.
At least 3 years of experience using the WISE ERP system.

Responsibilities

Train employees on WISE, WinZone, and Winreports functions.
Train new presidents/managers and employees on topics including WISE functions and reports such as A Day’s Work in a Day (ADWIAD).
Work with local companies to organize and/or set up WISE data.
Conduct follow-up training activities with recently visited local companies.
Participate in in-person events such as Annual Meetings, National Training, Regional Training, and MDTP sessions.
Record training help videos and provide supporting help documentation.
Create, maintain, and follow up on end-user help tickets until issues are resolved.
Work routinely with Programming, Quality Assurance, and Support teams on projects.
Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to local companies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
