About The Position
National Water Services, LLC is seeking Field Technicians in Rochester Hills & Troy, MI, to maintain their water vending machines located in retail stores. This role is ideal for individuals who prefer independent work, dislike desk jobs, and desire a consistent route. The Field Technician will be responsible for cleaning, stocking, and ensuring the machines are operational. The work is straightforward, pays well, and offers flexibility in managing one's own time. This is an independent contractor position with an "all-in" rate of $26/hr, which includes mileage and travel expenses.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions.
- Attention to detail; ability to follow a checklist.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled visits.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in field services, retail merchandising, delivery routes, or janitorial work.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect the water vending machine inside and out.
- Take meter readings and log the data on the service report.
- Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit.
- Submit the completed report to the home office.
- Report any observed damage, mechanical issues, or unusual circumstances to the home office.
