About The Position

The Seasonal Field Support Technician is responsible for setting up and breaking down kiosks in local retail stores. The role includes driving a moving truck, carrying equipment into locations, installing kiosks, and maintaining locations. The ideal candidate has knowledge of computer and technology installation. The technician helps ensure locations meet brand and marketing appearance standards, keeps workplaces clean and inviting, and follows company policies and standards. This role contributes to Jackson Hewitt’s mission of guiding clients through tax codes and processes with integrity, quality, and consistency.

Requirements

Driver’s license required for those required to drive; preferred for those not driving.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of computer functions and some technical skills.
Customer service experience.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 pounds at one time.
Ability to hold, carry, and move equipment, tools, and materials.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of computer and technology installation.
Driver’s license for candidates who are not required to drive.

Responsibilities

Set up and tear down kiosk furniture, computers, technology, and kiosk components using hand tools.
Meet deadlines to ensure office locations meet brand and marketing appearance standards.
Help maintain a clean and inviting workplace, including removing trash, vacuuming or sweeping, and cleaning counters and glass.
Drive a moving truck when required and carry equipment into locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with company policies and standards.
