About The Position

The Seasonal Field Support Technician completes the setup and breakdown of kiosks at 29 local retail stores in East Tennessee. The work includes driving a moving truck, carrying equipment into locations, installing kiosks, and maintaining locations. The role suits someone with basic computer and technical installation knowledge. This is a seasonal position with opportunities for advancement and the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. The position supports Jackson Hewitt’s work helping clients navigate tax codes and processes with integrity, quality, and consistency. Requirements

A driver's license is required for employees who will drive and preferred for those who will not.
Reliable transportation.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of computer functions and some technical skills.
Customer service experience.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 pounds at one time and to hold, carry, and move equipment, tools, and materials.
Compliance with company policies and standards.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of computer or technology installation.
A driver's license for candidates who will not be driving.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down kiosk furniture, computers, technology, and kiosk components using hand tools.
Meet deadlines so office locations meet brand and marketing appearance standards.
Help maintain a clean and inviting workplace, including removing trash, vacuuming or sweeping, and cleaning counters and glass.
Drive a moving truck and carry equipment into retail locations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
