About The Position

The Field Supervisor oversees the crew and equipment at a plant or project site, ensuring work is completed safely and to customer standards. The role involves supervising and performing industrial cleaning and remediation tasks, operating equipment, maintaining safety requirements, and working across diverse project environments. The position is based in Jacksonville, Florida, within the Direct Labor department and Environmental business unit, and reports to the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to safety.
• 5–10 years of experience operating heavy equipment, vacuum trucks, hydro-blasters, and line-cleaning equipment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate others.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel and work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
• Physical capability and willingness to lift up to 50 pounds while working with hoses, chemicals, and other equipment.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and requirements at all times for the entire crew under supervision.
• Perform, operate, and supervise tasks such as hydro blasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck operation, and tank cleaning.
• Operate extremely high-pressure water-blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment, including pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, and bundles.
• Work in diverse environments, including confined spaces, various heights, storage tanks, and different project sites.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold and dry or wet environments.
• Handle hoses, chemicals, and other equipment required for assigned work, including physically lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Hook up and break down hoses using proper tools.
• Assist with operation of equipment or power tools.
• Clean the work area and equipment after work is completed.
• Assist with inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and the general work area.
• Read work orders and collect the basic equipment needed to perform tasks.
• Complete appropriate paperwork, including service receipts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
