About The Position
As a Field Service Technician at Ironclad Environmental Solutions, you will service, repair, and deliver rental equipment to customer locations. The role involves field work to ensure containment solutions are installed and maintained to high standards, as well as assisting with inventory control and equipment management at company facilities. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring strict adherence to company safety protocols. Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or inventory control.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the last 3 years.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment with varying conditions.
- Submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strict adherence to company safety protocols and standards.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pump systems.
- Welding experience.
- Experience in the rental or pump industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, service, and repair of rental equipment, ensuring units meet operational standards before and after use.
- Deliver and/or pick up berms and other equipment from customer locations, including setup and disassembly as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is serviced and repaired before release for rental.
- Assist with inventory control, including coordinating cycle counts and evaluating discrepancies.
- Complete equipment check sheets and work orders, accurately recording parts, labor, and other expenses.
- Operate a forklift as required to move equipment and supplies.
- Maintain clear communication with clients during installations and pickups to provide customer service.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
