About The Position

The Field Service Technician I is responsible for cleaning and preparing hazardous and non-hazardous waste for transportation. The role includes loading and unloading bulk liquids from tanks and tankers, inspecting equipment, hoses, and connections, and performing confined-space entry. Technicians work at customer sites and represent Reworld professionally while operating autonomously. The position requires following company procedures and OSHA requirements, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements

Ability to travel 10–25% of the time, including overnight travel.
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Ability to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
Ability to consistently work in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable laws.
Handle, package, and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Remove materials from tanks, pits, or trenches using hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
Perform confined-space entry and use mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, hand tools, and other tools as needed.
Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
Represent Reworld professionally while working autonomously at customer sites.
Comply with OSHA health and safety rules and complete required Reworld training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
