About The Position

Shared Imaging is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician in Los Angeles, California, and surrounding areas. The territory includes sites in Anaheim, Riverside, Fontana, and down to San Diego; travel to other areas may sometimes be required. A company vehicle will be provided. The technician performs planned and emergency service on mobile medical units, including service to HVAC units, chillers, generators, and hydraulic patient lifts. The role also includes trailer cleaning, repairs and maintenance, DOT inspections and repairs, vendor coordination, documentation, and participation in daily and weekly conference-call meetings. The annual pay range is $32 to $38 per hour. Compensation may vary based on geographic region, internal equity, and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position is eligible for an annual performance-based merit increase. Employment is conditional on having a completed background check and drug screen on file.

Requirements

Strong computer skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting.
Clean driving record.
Personal insurance is required.
Complete a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of power generation, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems.
EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform planned and emergency service on mobile medical units within an assigned territory.
Service HVAC units, chillers, generators, and hydraulic patient lifts.
Clean, repair, and maintain trailer exteriors.
Perform DOT inspections and repairs as necessary.
Manage vendors and communicate with them.
Document all repair and maintenance activities.
Participate in weekly and daily meetings via conference calls.
