About The Position

This position provides service and technical support during provisioning, validation, verification, testing, and training for government contract Product Support Package (PSP) logistic efforts throughout the contract period of performance. The role supports government contract equipment in field and storage settings, including service, maintenance, inspections, repairs, and training. The position is full-time and exempt, based onsite at JCB’s Pooler, Georgia location, with 50% travel to government and military locations. The work takes place in a manufacturing or factory environment, with occasional outdoor work and exposure to noise and temperature changes. The schedule may include Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Requirements

At least 5–8 years of experience as a government contract Field Service Representative or equivalent military maintenance background.
Must be able to obtain a passport.
Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and extensive troubleshooting experience.
Experience instructing or training operators and/or maintainers.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Must pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests conducted in accordance with applicable law.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise.
Ability to understand processes, troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions.
Self-motivated team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 35 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Able to perform continuous, repetitive physical activities, including fine movements or large motions; grasp or pinch small items; reach out and up; and turn the wrist.
Able to keep pace with current production speed and push or pull with reasonable force.
Able to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Able to work in multiple climates, including hot and cold temperatures and dusty environments.

Nice To Haves

At least 5 years of practical experience instructing the operation and maintenance of Heavy Equipment (HE) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Experience in a military environment.

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical service and maintenance support for government contract equipment.
Perform warranty inspections, repairs, and/or replacements on government contract equipment.
Perform monthly cycling and inspections on government equipment in JCB storage.
Perform pre-delivery inspections and service audits.
Support service FSI and rework efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
