About The Position

Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Southeast Texas, is hiring a Machinery Field Service Dispatcher in Houston, Texas. The dispatcher coordinates customer service requests for heavy and light Caterpillar construction equipment across the Houston area, ensuring timely scheduling, communication, and follow-up to support customer service and machine uptime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of dispatching experience in a service-related industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional verbal, written, telephone, and email communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to perform under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of construction equipment.
• Forklift experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field repairs by scheduling technicians and ensuring timely response.
• Communicate with customers and sales representatives regarding repair status.
• Open, edit, review, and invoice work orders.
• Coordinate parts orders and component repairs to support field service jobs.
• Monitor field service expenses, technician overtime, and job progress.
• Address customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
• Support the service team with accurate documentation and updates.
