About The Position

Mustang Cat is hiring a Machinery Field Service Dispatcher in Houston, Texas, to coordinate customer service requests for heavy and light Caterpillar construction equipment across the Houston area. The role ensures timely scheduling, communication, and follow-up so customers receive reliable service and machine uptime. The dispatcher coordinates field repairs and technicians, communicates repair progress, manages work orders, arranges parts and component repairs, monitors expenses and job progress, and supports the service team with accurate documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of dispatching experience in a service-related industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional verbal, written, phone, and email communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure.

• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of construction equipment.
• Forklift experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field repairs by scheduling technicians and ensuring timely response.
• Communicate with customers and sales representatives about repair status.
• Open, edit, review, and invoice work orders.
• Coordinate parts orders and component repairs to support field service jobs.
• Monitor field service expenses, technician overtime, and job progress.
• Address customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
• Support the service team with accurate documentation and updates.
