Field Service and Installation Technician
About The Position
Ixom Watercare is hiring a Field Service and Installation Technician to install and service water treatment equipment at sites across the United States. Service trips start from Dickinson, North Dakota, and candidates living in Dickinson are preferred. The role involves frequent nationwide travel, often on trips lasting about three and a half weeks, with flexible time off between trips discussed during the interview. The company pays travel expenses, including per diem and a private hotel room while traveling. The technician works with a team to install and repair water treatment equipment, interacts with customers, and explains equipment operation and maintenance. Work takes place outdoors and may involve heights, including water towers, working over or in water, and confined spaces. Extensive initial and ongoing training and safety equipment are provided. The position suits someone who enjoys travel, teamwork, and problem-solving and can work in varied weather conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a clean driving record with no DUIs.
- Good communication and professionalism.
- Ability to get along and work well with others.
- Some mechanical or electrical knowledge or aptitude is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights, over water, in water, and in confined spaces.
