About The Position

An established foundation installation company serving the Gulf Coast is hiring an experienced Field Installation Technician. This hands-on role involves operating heavy equipment, installing foundation systems, preparing and maintaining equipment, and supporting field crews on projects throughout the region and beyond. Extensive travel is required, with projects primarily in Louisiana and additional opportunities in Texas and other states. Employees may spend 1–3 months away from home per project. The position pays $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates and paid overtime available. Company-paid hotel accommodations and flights, meal per diem, applicable mileage reimbursement, and safety training are provided. A higher per diem may be available for employees who arrange their own lodging. Candidates must complete the company's drug screening and background check process.

Requirements

• Experience operating an excavator, bulldozer, and skid steer loader.
• General mechanical and electrical skills to assist with equipment maintenance and foundation installations.
• A current driver's license and a CDL, or the ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel extensively, potentially spending 1–3 months away from home per project.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, lift heavy materials, and work extended hours with overtime as needed.
• Commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and teamwork.
• Must complete the company's drug screening and background check process.

• Experience with forklifts and man lifts.
