About the position
The Field Estimator role at Ergeon is crucial in enabling the company to be agile and scalable. As an independent contractor, you will use your camera phone to document the exterior landscape and gardens of clients' homes, syncing the photos with Ergeon's system. These photos will be analyzed by service professionals to create plans and proposals for various projects. Additionally, you will directly interact with clients, utilize the latest technology, and contribute to operational direction as the company expands its services. This role requires reliability, consistency, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Act as an independent contractor using a camera phone to document the exterior landscape and gardens of each client's home
- Sync the photos with Ergeon's system for analysis by service professionals
- Use the photos to build fence or driveway plans, detailed yard blueprints, and special project proposals
- Foster strong communication with clients by addressing specific questions or requests related to the photos
- Interface directly with clients at their homes
- Utilize the latest technology and help craft operational direction as the company scales its services
- Deliver strong customer service
- Complete at least 12-16 jobs per week (2 days per week on average)
- Have a reliable car and driver's license
- Maintain a clean driving record and up-to-date car insurance
- Use your own smartphone camera for the job
- Be tech-savvy and comfortable with technology

- Car and Driver's License (own, well-maintained car & a valid license)
- Clean Driving Record & Insurance (less than 3 points, up-to-date car insurance)
- Smartphone Camera (use own smartphone camera)
- Tech Savvy
