About the position
The Field Estimator role at Ergeon is crucial for the company's scalability and efficiency. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for documenting the exterior landscape and gardens of clients' homes using a camera phone. These photos will be used by the Ergeon team to create detailed plans and proposals for various projects. Additionally, you will have direct interaction with clients, utilizing the latest technology and contributing to the operational direction of the company. This role requires reliability, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to completing a minimum of 15 jobs per week.
Responsibilities
- Act as an independent contractor using a camera phone to document the exterior landscape and gardens of each client's home
- Sync the photos with Ergeon's system for analysis by service professionals
- Build fence or driveway plans, detailed yard blueprints, and special project proposals using the photos
- Foster strong communication with clients by addressing specific questions or requests
- Interface directly with clients at their homes
- Utilize the latest technology and help shape operational direction as the company scales its services
- Deliver strong customer service
- Complete at least 15 jobs per week (3-4 days per week on average)
- Possess a reliable and personable demeanor
- Have a car and driver's license
- Maintain a clean driving record and up-to-date car insurance
- Use your own smartphone camera for the job
- Be tech-savvy and comfortable with technology

- Car and Driver's License (own, well-maintained car & valid license)
- Clean Driving Record & Insurance (less than 3 points, up-to-date car insurance)
- Smartphone Camera (use own smartphone camera)
- Tech Savvy
