About The Position
vly is an innovative FoodTech startup from Berlin revolutionizing the food industry with healthy, plant-based milk alternatives that benefit both consumers and the planet. After years of research, vly has developed products with significantly less sugar and more protein, which have won awards and are available nationwide. These include pea protein milk alternatives and the first-ever fava bean protein yogurt. Sales is a key driver for vly's future, and this role is crucial for bringing vly products to grocery store shelves.
Requirements
- Professional experience in field sales support of retail partners within the food retail sector.
- Familiarity with retail terminology such as Chep, NR, Display, EAN.
- Completed vocational training, a degree, or a trainee program, ideally with a focus on Sales.
- Proficiency in handling numbers, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent German language skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Comfortable working in a startup culture with flat hierarchies and ample opportunities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the food retail sector.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage key accounts in the food retail sector, primarily Rewe & Edeka.
- Acquire new supermarkets and be responsible for their consultation and support.
- Ensure 100% distribution and implement promotions and actions on supermarket shelves.
- Represent vly in the region, at trade fairs, and events, occasionally outside of Berlin.
- Identify and seize opportunities for relationship expansion.
