About The Position

The Field Property Claims Adjuster helps customers navigate claims and recover after damage to their homes. Candidates should live in or near the assigned territory. Most workdays are spent in the field, with occasional desk-based assignments. The adjuster handles moderate to complex claims independently from first notice of loss through final closure, investigates coverage and damage issues, and prepares repair estimates for covered damage. Inspections may require accessing roofs by ladder and examining attics, crawl spaces, and basements. The role also involves explaining coverage, assisting policyholders with damage itemization, emergency repairs, and additional living arrangements, and coordinating with vendors. New hires participate in a comprehensive five-month training program consisting primarily of virtual and on-the-job learning, plus two short in-person sessions at the Lewisville, Texas office during weeks four and seven. Overnight travel for training and team meetings is limited, typically less than 10%. Mileage is reimbursed, and a company-provided vehicle may be available once mileage requirements are met.
