About The Position

Student Worker will work supporting counselors and assisting with appointment scheduling as well as provide operational support to GCU’s non-traditional campus. This position focuses on appointment setting and requires proficiency in various University systems. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, organizing time effectively, and collaborating with other campus departments. Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of pre-employment screening activities, including a background check.

  • Must be available to work shifts on 3 of 5 weekdays each week
  • Must be able to work close to maximum hours each week (20 during school times, up to 40 during breaks, including Summer)
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently use University systems to execute multiple tasks and reporting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Organize time effectively so all prioritized work is completed in a timely manner and desired tasks are achieved to ensure service quality
  • Work well in a team environment and communicating with other campus departments and leadership
  • Assist with Excel documents and reports
  • Appointment setting
