About The Position

OPENLANE is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator for the South Fresno/Bakersfield, California area. This role is part of the operations team and supports smooth vehicle inspection operations through vehicle assessments, documentation, and coordination with dealerships and internal teams. The coordinator serves as a liaison among sales, operations, and dealerships, helping maintain positive relationships and efficient communication. The role operates Monday through Friday and may include other job-related duties as assigned by an authorized person.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of automotive experience as a vehicle mechanic or equivalent mechanical background.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Proficiency using technology, including electronic submission of inspection reports.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle assessments, inspecting and documenting the engine, transmission, interior, and exterior using OPENLANE's mobile application.
• Coordinate with dealerships and ensure they follow OPENLANE vehicle inspection standards and guidelines.
• Submit accurate, detailed inspection reports through the designated platform.
• Support marketing efforts by distributing flyers and promotional materials to buying dealers.
• Maintain communication and collaboration with internal teams and dealerships.
• Carry out other job-related duties or instructions requested by an authorized person.
