Field Marketing Manager

NimbleWay•San Francisco, CA
•$110,000 - $150,000

About The Position

Nimble is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager to own the company’s field presence, including planning, logistics, on-site execution, and follow-up for industry conferences, regional summits, developer hackathons and meetups, ABM and customer events, executive dinners, and partner co-marketing activations. The role connects Marketing, Ecosystem, Sales, and leadership, and operates autonomously without coordinator support. It uses a data-driven approach to demonstrate event results and pipeline impact. The manager determines which events to invest in and how to participate, owns the annual event calendar and budget, and handles sponsorship and vendor negotiations. The role leads event logistics and programming, coordinates executives and sellers, makes on-site decisions, partners with Ecosystem on developer events, and works with Sales on attendee targeting and post-event follow-up. It reports event ROI to leadership and contributes an informed perspective on events to go-to-market planning. Nimble leads the AI web search category, providing products that businesses use to build AI agents with programmatic access to the web. The company says it has raised more than $70 million and serves hundreds of enterprise customers. Nimble values clarity, ownership, and trust; moves quickly while caring about sustainability; expects leaders to think as well as execute; and believes good systems enable people.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years managing events at a high-growth B2B technology company; AI or data experience is strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships across enterprise and AI-native technical companies; deep connections in San Francisco or New York are a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success planning both developer-focused events, such as hackathons, meetups, and technical conferences, and executive-level events, such as dinners, summits, and customer gatherings.
  • Proven ownership of the full event lifecycle, including planning, pre-event logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • A data-driven approach to events, including defining metrics, tracking ROI, and reporting results to senior management.
  • Experience supporting large industry events and regional summits.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders.
  • Creativity in event design and programming.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership from initial idea through final follow-up with minimal dependency on others.
  • Clear communication with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to remain calm when issues arise on the day of an event.
  • Ability to evaluate and discuss events in terms of pipeline rather than attendance.
