Headway's Care Partnerships team aims to become the behavioral health partner of choice for health systems across the United States. The team helps care management, social work, and clinical teams refer patients to high-quality outpatient behavioral health care. • A track record of meeting activity and quota targets.
  • Resilience in handling rejection and continuing outreach.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and ability to learn quickly, take feedback, and adjust approaches.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and earn buy-in from front-desk staff through physicians.
  • Organization and discipline in keeping pipeline and activity information up to date in real time.
  • Motivation to help improve access to mental healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Travel within a 40–50 mile radius of the assigned territory.
  • Grow and manage an existing book of referral partners, delivering ongoing partner success and reporting that deepens relationships and supports practice growth.
  • Own the pipeline in Salesforce and keep activity and forecasts current and organized.
  • Document learnings on messaging, sequencing, and conversion performance, and share weekly metrics with the business development team to improve the playbook.
