Fireworks•San Mateo, CA
•$210,000 - $256,000

About The Position

Fireworks is seeking a field-tested sales operator to serve as the dedicated execution and enablement partner for its global Account Executive organization. As part of Revenue Operations, this individual will design programs and lead change to help the team stay sharp, consistent, and effective as the company scales. The role calls for significant experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive, combining sales credibility with operational rigor and the ability to drive global programs. The successful candidate will also apply AI fluency to bring agentic workflows into AEs’ day-to-day work. Success will be measured by AE outcomes, including time-to-first-deal and ramp compliance for new hires, as well as productivity among ramped AEs. This is an individual-contributor role reporting to the Head of GTM Enablement. The role is based in AMER and involves approximately 15–20% travel for team events and trainings.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience, including significant experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive selling to enterprise buyers.
  • Working fluency in AI/ML or developer infrastructure and credibility coaching sellers who work with technical buyers.
  • A track record of driving change across a team, with the rigor to define, track, and act on metrics that demonstrate results.
  • Strength in both content development and live facilitation, including for new-hire cohorts and experienced sellers.
  • Personally built AI agents or applications using prompting, no-code, low-code, or code to improve seller or operational productivity; an engineering degree is not required.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, take high ownership, and work at the pace of a high-growth startup.
  • Based in AMER and willing to travel approximately 15–20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a first- or second-line sales leader, or as Chief of Staff to a GTM leader.
  • AE experience at an AI/ML infrastructure, developer tools, or API-first and consumption-based business, with literacy in usage-based pricing models.
  • Prior ownership of seller onboarding, ramp, or enablement programs.
  • Fluency in enterprise sales methodologies such as Command of the Message or MEDDICC, and in forecasting discipline.
  • Familiarity with modern enablement tooling and systems, including LMS, CMS, CRM, and conversation intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in AE leadership forums and help shape segment go-to-market strategy alongside the Revenue Operations counterpart.
  • Drive execution of critical AE team initiatives, including multi-quarter transformations and rapid operational improvements.
  • Own ongoing deal-execution enablement for experienced AEs, covering deal strategy, forecasting discipline, and positioning consumption-based pricing.
  • Build AEs’ product and AI/ML fluency so they can conduct credible discovery and recognize when to involve an AI Field Engineer.
  • Audit and continuously improve the AE onboarding experience, from the Firecademy program through full ramp, and promote consistent ramping across locations.
  • Track and improve new-hire time-to-first-deal and ramp compliance.
  • Identify top AE practices using call reviews, field conversations, pipeline data, and win/loss data.
  • Scale effective AE practices through peer showcases, deal reviews, and a curated call library, and share insights with the broader go-to-market team.
  • Design and deploy AI agents within AE workflows, including tools for account research, call preparation, and deal-strategy coaching.
