About The Position

The Field Engineer III supports construction, system turnover, commissioning, and startup for the I-10 Pipe Rack Relocation Project. This in-plant position coordinates with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, HSE/Process Safety, Quality, and contractors to ensure project systems are complete, accurately documented, and ready for safe startup and operation. The role focuses on system turnover, mechanical completion, punch-list management, field verification, and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) execution. The posting also describes engineering and design coordination duties, including defining project scope and discipline requirements, preparing engineering sketches and instructions for design personnel, coordinating work across disciplines, reviewing drawing packages and calculations, and overseeing engineering package quality and production. The role may require walking industrial and construction sites, working in protective clothing, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing other physical tasks described in the posting. Extended hours may be needed during commissioning, turnarounds, and startup.
