About The Position

SightMD is seeking a part-time Field Community Outreach Coordinator to support the development, maintenance, and growth of the practice by coordinating and implementing outreach programs. The coordinator represents SightMD as an advocate for its providers and builds relationships with optometric and referring providers across an assigned territory. The role includes weekly travel to Shamokin and Wyomissing, extensive travel throughout the territory, and a schedule of two days per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Above-average customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build strong provider relationships within an assigned territory.
• Visit established and new referring providers according to practice guidelines.
• Assist with coordinating continuing education functions, community-network events, and community events.
• Provide ongoing educational support to community providers on SightMD services and specialties in compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Coordinate and participate in business development events.
• Maintain a robust database containing relevant information about community providers.
• Act as a liaison between the community and SightMD and help resolve issues that arise.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
