About The Position

The Field Community Outreach Coordinator supports the development, maintenance, and growth of SightMD by coordinating and implementing practice outreach programs. The coordinator represents SightMD as a provider advocate to optometric and referring provider networks, builds relationships within an assigned territory, and serves as a liaison between community providers and SightMD. The role involves weekly travel to Shamokin and Wyomissing, extensive travel throughout the assigned territory, and a schedule of two days per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Above-average customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build strong provider relationships within an assigned territory.
• Maintain protocols for visiting established and new referring providers according to practice guidelines.
• Assist in coordinating continuing education functions, events for the community network, and community events.
• Provide ongoing educational support to community providers about SightMD services and specialties in compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Coordinate and participate in business development events.
• Maintain a robust database with pertinent information about community providers.
• Act as a liaison between the community and SightMD and problem-solve issues that arise.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
