About The Position

OHARA, LLC is hiring a full-time Field Based Nurse Case Manager in the Yankton, South Dakota area. The role coordinates and facilitates case management services for injured workers, with the goal of helping them reach pre-injury status and/or maximum medical improvement and supporting a safe return to work as soon as possible. The position involves attending appointments with injured workers and medical providers and working closely with injured workers, employer representatives, insurance company claims adjusters, and medical providers. The nurse case manager also performs telephonic case management. This is a work-from-home position, and applicants must reside in the Yankton, SD area. Regional travel is required. The employee must also be available on call for approximately three weeks per year.

Requirements

Current RN license.
Associate degree.
At least 2 years of clinical practice experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must reside in the Yankton, SD area.
Must be able to travel regionally.
Must be able to be on call approximately 3 weeks per year.
Willingness to obtain the Certified Case Manager (CCM) designation within 3 years of employment, or applicable certification.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with occupational medicine, orthopedics, or neurology.
Certified Case Manager (CCM) designation or applicable certification.
