Sr Field Applications Engineer
About The Position
Broadcom Inc. is hiring a Field Applications Engineer to provide technical support to customers for industrial products in California. The role leads customer design-ins of Broadcom isolation, sensor, and industrial fiber-optic products and provides technical assistance throughout the design cycle. The engineer works with R&D and Product Engineering to resolve technical issues during and after design-in activities, trains internal and external customers, identifies market trends and growth drivers in industrial automation, robotics, drones, medical, and automotive, and helps develop go-to-market strategy with product line and sales management. The position offers on-target earnings of USD 129,400 to USD 207,000, including salary and sales incentive commission under applicable plan documents. The role is also eligible for a competitive new-hire equity grant and annual equity awards, subject to applicable plan documents and award agreements. Responsibilities
- Lead the design-in of Broadcom isolation, sensor, and industrial fiber-optic products at customers in California.
- Provide technical assistance through all phases of the design cycle.
- Work jointly with R&D and Product Engineering to resolve technical issues during and after design-in activities.
- Provide training for internal and external customers.
- Help identify market trends and growth drivers Broadcom should target in industrial automation, robotics, drones, medical, and automotive.
- Assist in developing go-to-market strategy with product line and sales management.
