  • Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, function generators, electronic loads, power supplies, current probes, and soldering tools.
  • Experience supporting customer technical issues through structured debugging and problem solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent technical activities with urgency and ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting AI, machine learning, CPU, GPU, or server power delivery applications.
  • Hands-on experience with multiphase buck converters and digital voltage regulator controllers.
  • Hands-on experience with high-current server or AI power designs.
  • Experience with the SIMPLIS simulation environment.
  • Familiarity with validation planning, test automation, and lab instrumentation workflows.
  • Experience working directly with strategic customers in a field applications, systems, or product applications role.
  • Ability to balance technical problem solving with commercial awareness in support of design-win execution.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key technical interface for customer accounts, supporting power architecture and voltage regulator engagements from design through production.
  • Provide technical guidance on digital multiphase power controllers, power modules, and server-class power delivery solutions.
  • Support schematic and layout reviews, board bring-up, debug, and validation activities.
  • Prepare customer-facing technical materials, including program updates, validation reports, controller configuration files, issue summaries, and waveform data.
  • Assist customers with system validation, including voltage-regulator performance, telemetry, protection behavior, and interactions with CPU, GPU, ASIC, or SoC power domains.
  • Simulate voltage-regulator solutions with application-specific power distribution networks in SIMPLIS to support design reviews and reduce early risk.
  • Validate multiphase power solutions for datacenter and AI platforms, including transient response, efficiency, telemetry, fault behavior, and protection features.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, validation checklists, and coverage matrices for evaluation across operating conditions.
  • Use lab instrumentation and structured test methods to conduct repeatable validation.
  • Diagnose electrical and system issues using lab equipment and drive urgent issue resolution, including high-priority customer escalations.
  • Partner with design, systems, and applications teams to identify root causes and define corrective actions.
  • Escalate when deeper cross-functional support is needed while retaining ownership of customer communication and follow-through.
  • Work with Sales, Product Line, Marketing, and engineering teams to support customer engagements and design wins.
  • Manage multiple concurrent customer activities, including design support, validation, debug, and issue tracking.
