Federal Growth Lead, Navy

Sitreps•Washington, NY
•$220,000 - $250,000

About The Position

The Federal Growth Lead will own the company’s Department of the Navy sales effort and develop a repeatable sales motion across systems commands, program executive offices, and fleet and installation customers. The company has no existing Navy book of business, so the role will develop a multi-year account strategy and pursue enterprise programs, build relationships with program offices and contracting officers, and establish trust with customers. The role owns the complete Navy sales cycle, from prospecting through close, and carries a quota. It requires an individual contributor who can independently prospect, lead discovery and software demonstrations, navigate procurement pathways, and partner with proposal and design teams. The company is a venture-backed software business building AI-native systems for federal agencies. The preferred locations are New York City or Washington, DC; remote work anywhere in the United States is also considered. Travel is approximately 20–40% for those based in New York or Washington, DC, and 50% or more for remote employees. Compensation is a base salary of $220,000–$250,000 plus commission and equity.
