About The Position

NetImpact Strategies seeks a Federal Growth Executive to expand its business across federal civilian agencies. The company combines established federal delivery experience with commercial software innovation to help agencies modernize systems and improve mission outcomes. The executive is accountable for generating and closing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and converting NetImpact’s contract vehicles and capabilities into revenue. This hands-on leader identifies customer needs, shapes opportunities, demonstrates solutions, and leads pursuits from initial engagement through contract award. Success is measured by contract awards and revenue growth. The role requires end-to-end ownership and active execution of the sales process rather than reliance on others to drive opportunities.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in federal business development, sales, or growth, with substantial experience serving civilian agencies.
  • Demonstrated success personally leading opportunities through the full sales cycle and closing federal contracts.
  • Experience selling enterprise software, technology services, or modernization solutions involving multiple stakeholders and complex acquisition processes.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer benefits and a compelling business case.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort with hands-on execution and independently taking end-to-end ownership of opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Established relationships within federal civilian agencies, including VA, GSA, State, DoJ, Commerce, or other target accounts.
  • Experience selling commercial software and AI-enabled modernization solutions to government customers.
  • Experience with application modernization, workflow automation, case management, or mission-system transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Own federal civilian sales goals, build a qualified pipeline, and convert opportunities into contract awards and revenue.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with mission leaders, program offices, CIO organizations, acquisition officials, and industry partners.
  • Lead the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, customer discovery, solution positioning, demonstrations, pursuit coordination, negotiation, and close.
  • Connect NetImpact’s modernization and technology solutions to customer priorities, funding, and mission outcomes.
  • Present NetImpact’s value proposition and conduct product demonstrations, involving technical specialists as needed.
  • Engage customers early to understand operational challenges, modernization objectives, acquisition plans, and decision criteria.
  • Develop sales strategies that use NetImpact’s existing contracts, contract vehicles, and partner relationships to create paths to purchase.
  • Keep opportunity records, next steps, forecasts, and competitive intelligence current in the company’s CRM.
  • Personally drive opportunities forward, manage details, and ensure sales opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
