About The Position
The Rappa District Office is seeking an entrepreneurial sales professional or business leader to develop and operate a Farmers Insurance agency serving Albany, Leesburg, Camilla, Sylvester, and surrounding Southwest Georgia communities. This is not a salaried position; it is an opportunity to build and own an agency, lead a team, earn commissions and performance-based bonuses, and create a business with long-term value. The agency owner will receive training, mentorship, licensing support, and business-development support, while taking responsibility for prospecting, making decisions, leading people, and owning business results. The role includes building relationships and generating new business, helping clients select Property & Casualty, Life, and Health insurance solutions, recruiting and leading a licensed agency team, managing daily operations and agency performance, and establishing the agency as a trusted local business. The District Office offers coaching, sales strategies, and ongoing support, backed by the Farmers Insurance brand and a local District Team invested in the owner's development.
Requirements
- At least one active Georgia insurance license: Property & Casualty or Life & Health.
- Willingness to obtain the additional required insurance license with support.
- Experience in sales, leadership, business development, or a customer-facing role.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
- Confidence prospecting and following up with potential clients.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
