About The Position

The Rappa District Office is seeking an entrepreneurial sales professional or business leader to develop and operate a Farmers Insurance agency serving Albany, Leesburg, Camilla, Sylvester, and surrounding Southwest Georgia communities. This is not a salaried position; it is an opportunity to build and own an agency, lead a team, earn commissions and performance-based bonuses, and create a business with long-term value. The agency owner will receive training, mentorship, licensing assistance, and business-development support, while taking responsibility for prospecting, making decisions, leading people, and agency results.

The role includes support from the Richard Rappa District Office, which provides practical coaching, proven sales strategies, and ongoing guidance, backed by the Farmers Insurance brand.

Requirements

• Hold at least one active Georgia insurance license: Property & Casualty or Life & Health.
• Be willing to obtain the additional required insurance license with support.
• Have experience in sales, leadership, business development, or a customer-facing role.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
• Be confident prospecting and following up with potential clients.
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and generate new business.
• Help clients select Property & Casualty, Life, and Health insurance solutions.
• Recruit and lead a licensed agency team.
• Manage daily operations and agency performance.
• Establish the agency as a trusted local business.
