About The Position
The Family Support Specialist works directly with clients in social services and provides case management. The role requires knowledge of TEAM and area services, the ability to work with diverse populations, and travel within the community. The specialist must function within the Agency’s core values and identify with its mission.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in social services working directly with clients, including case management.
- Strong knowledge of TEAM and area services.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Dependability and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to drive and frequently get into and out of a vehicle; sit for brief periods; climb stairs; bend; and lift.
- Ability to function within the Agency’s core values and identify with the Agency mission.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
