About The Position

Marathon Health is seeking a Family Physician to provide patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care model. The role focuses on preventive and wellness care, acute and chronic disease management, strong provider-patient relationships, high clinical quality, and an excellent service experience. The model supports smaller patient panels of approximately 800–1,000 patients, longer appointments, and care in a capitated-fee environment. Providers focus on improving health outcomes, patient engagement, and satisfaction rather than fee-for-service volume. The position offers an insurance-light work environment with fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks, and uses electronic medical records, population-management tools, and technology-enabled patient access. Physicians collaborate across interdisciplinary care teams, including at least two Advanced Practice Providers. The schedule is 24 hours per week, with a stated pay range of $132,000–$168,000 per year and eligibility for an annual incentive. The actual offer may depend on geographic location, experience, and skill level.
