Family Partnerships Coordinator, Remote

The Smith Family
•Hybrid

About The Position

The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. Its Learning for Life program provides emotional, practical and financial support to help children and young people experiencing disadvantage with their education, from early learning through primary and high school. The Remote Family Partnership Coordinator works within Queensland as part of the Learning for Life team, supporting geographically dispersed families through referrals, links to programs and community relationships. The role helps families engage with educational support and promotes strong school attendance, achievement and post-school pathways. Family support is primarily provided by phone and email with primary contacts; face-to-face contact with students or families is unusual. This permanent, full-time role offers a flexible location and flexible work arrangements, including hybrid working. The coordinator contributes to a local Learning for Life team and the broader organisation, with on-the-job skill development and regular coaching from their leader.
