The Family Medicine Residency Program Director will establish and lead a residency program aligned with ACGME accreditation requirements and milestones, emphasizing excellence in clinical training, education, and community engagement. This role involves developing a long-term vision for the program, recruiting and building a core faculty team, and serving as a leader for graduate medical education within the organization and community. The Director will also practice financial stewardship for the program's budget, design and implement a comprehensive curriculum, promote a culture of teaching and mentorship, and champion evidence-based medicine and quality improvement. Additionally, the role includes facilitating resident engagement in public health initiatives, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber resident body, and cultivating a psychologically safe learning environment. The Director will lead the accreditation process, conduct program evaluations, and prepare for site visits. Collaboration with external partners and internal departments is key, as is leading efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Finally, the Director will provide faculty development, mentor faculty, and engage in professional activities that enhance personal growth and the organization's image.
