About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per diem, hourly Family Medicine Physician as a casual employee, with openings across the Cleveland area. The role involves 8–23 patient care hours per week and is benefits-ineligible. Physicians see patients with a broad range of needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits; this is not a panel-building role. Care is provided in-office and through occasional telehealth visits. The physician collaborates with in-office teammates in daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, applies their clinical training, and may perform in-office procedures. Candidates must have at least two years of primary care experience, board certification, and an Ohio license or the ability to obtain one. The hourly rate is $135.00; starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule, and additional pay may be available for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications and requirements. Casual/per diem/locums providers receive malpractice insurance, an UpToDate subscription, a One Medical-issued laptop, and sick time PTO in accordance with local requirements. One Medical describes its approach as human-centered primary care, using in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns. The organization joined Amazon in February 2023. The posting also describes benefits generally available to regular team members working 24 or more hours per week; the role itself is stated to be benefits-ineligible.
