About The Position

An established walk-in, non-emergency urgent care clinic in Lenoir, North Carolina, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The clinic treats patients of all ages and sees approximately 40–50 patients during a full shift. The role has no on-call status and is supported by multiple providers and full support staff. The facility has an onsite CLIA- and COLA-approved laboratory and full-body digital X-ray capabilities. The clinic uses Experity EMR. The schedule is listed as Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with alternating work patterns also provided: Monday–Tuesday on, Wednesday–Thursday off, Friday–Sunday on; then Monday–Tuesday off, Wednesday–Thursday on, Friday–Sunday off.

Requirements

PA candidates must graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
PA candidates must hold a current and unrestricted state PA license.
PA candidates must have current DEA registration if required for prescribing duties.
NCCPA certification is preferred or required as applicable by state law for PA candidates.
PA candidates must hold current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.
PA candidates must be able to obtain DOT certification if required by the clinic.
NP candidates must graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
NP candidates must hold a current and unrestricted APRN/NP license in the applicable state.
NP candidates must have national board certification in the applicable specialty area.
NP candidates must have current DEA registration if required for prescribing duties.
NP candidates must hold current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.
NP candidates must be able to obtain DOT certification if required by the clinic.
