Requirements

Previous experience as a Family Assistant, Nanny, Household Assistant, or in a similar private household position.
Experience caring for young children.
Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy family meals.
Have flexibility and availability for occasional extended hours and weekends.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and reliable.
Patient, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
Ability to anticipate household needs and work independently.
Valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Fluency in either English or French (bilingualism is considered an asset).
Children CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

Assist with the daily care and supervision of two children (ages 4 and 6).
Take charge of the after-school routines.
Prepare children for extracurricular activities.
Organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
Support homework routines when required.
Maintain children's bedrooms, play areas, and belongings in an organized manner.
Wash, fold, and organize the children's laundry.
Setting up the bathroom and bedroom for the pre-bedtime routine.
Encourage positive manners, routines, and healthy habits.
Plan and prepare healthy, family-style dinners.
Plan, prepare and pack lunches for the children.
Assist with grocery shopping.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen following meal preparation.
Monitor pantry and household supplies.
Work in team with a cleaner to perform light household duties related to the children's daily activities.
Assist with household organization as needed.
