About The Position

Houston Community College is seeking a part-time Faculty Tutor III in Computer Science to support its academic mission and students. The role is part of HCC’s faculty team, which serves as teacher, mentor, and academic advisor. Candidates should have a student-centered approach and be collaborative, innovative, and focused on getting things done. A minimum of three years of combined teaching and commercial software development experience is required. Experience with technology used in distance education is a plus.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, with at least 18 completed graduate hours in computer science.
• Official transcript(s) conferring the degree must accompany the application.
• At least three years of combined teaching and commercial software development experience.
