About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting for an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the appointment (non-tenure) stream. This position is open to applicants with a doctoral-level degree in medicine (MD, DO), who are board certified or board eligible, qualified for medical licensure in Pennsylvania, and meet the minimum credentials for a pediatric specialty to provide clinical service. Responsibilities include patient care, teaching, and research as determined by the chairman and the associated division chief. The rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic credentials. General rank requirements are: Assistant Professors have 1-6 years of experience with demonstrated academic progress/contributions; Associate Professors have 7-10 years of experience with significant demonstrated academic progress/contributions; Professors have 10 or more years of experience with clear demonstration of leadership, academic excellence, and innovation. Requirements
