About The Position

UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital & The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine currently employ more than 200 psychiatrists and manage more than 500 psychiatric beds across the network. We have more than 390,000 outpatient visits a year and over $180 million in research funding. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of a psychiatry residency

Responsibilities

  • Providing psychiatric and behavioral health services to patients across the life span for Western Psychiatric Hospital and its clinics.
  • Teaching UPMC trainees, such as residents and fellows, as well as UPSOM medical students.
