About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Facility Drivers for its inpatient detox and residential treatment facility in Dublin, New Hampshire. The role transports clients to admissions, discharges, and appointments, provides basic peer support during transport, and assists with luggage. The driver also keeps the vehicle maintained, fueled, and ready for use, and helps with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting clients.

Avenues Recovery Center at Dublin is a residential facility providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation in a setting on 11 acres of New Hampshire countryside. The facility's multidisciplinary team includes clinicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, addiction counselors, and behavioral health technicians.

Requirements

• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectable character reflecting recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments as necessary.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage clients at a peer-support level during transport and assist with luggage.
• Keep the vehicle well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively transporting clients.
