About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Facility Driver for its inpatient detox and residential treatment facility in Dublin, New Hampshire. The driver transports clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments, and supports clients during transportation. The role also includes delivering external appointment documentation and lab specimens, maintaining the vehicle, and helping with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting clients.

Avenues at Dublin is a residential facility providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. It is located on 11 acres of New Hampshire countryside and is staffed by clinicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians.

Requirements

• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectable character reflecting recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments as necessary.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage clients at a peer-support level during transport and assist with luggage.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively engaged in transport.
