About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Facility Driver for its inpatient detox and residential treatment facility in Dublin, New Hampshire. The role supports client transportation and facility operations. The driver transports clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments; delivers external appointment documentation and lab specimens; engages clients at a peer-support level during transportation; and assists with luggage. The driver also keeps the vehicle maintained, fueled, and ready for use, and helps with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting clients.

Requirements

• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectable character that reflects recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the treatment industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments as necessary.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage clients at a peer-support level during transport and assist with luggage.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively engaged in transport.
