About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Facility Driver for its inpatient detox and residential treatment facility in Dublin, New Hampshire. The driver monitors transportation schedules and safely transports clients to admissions, discharges, and appointments. The role also includes collecting and delivering external appointment documentation and lab specimens, engaging with clients in a peer-support capacity during transport, and assisting with luggage. The driver keeps the vehicle maintained, fueled, and ready for use, and assists with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting clients.

Requirements

• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectable character that reflects recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments as necessary.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage clients on a peer-support level during transport and assist with luggage.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively engaged in transport.
